solid stay near the o2

helpful staffquick room service
The hotel's proximity to the o2 arena worked really well! i also appreciated the very helpful staff. They readily assisted me when needed. room service was especially quick!
I encountered issues with the air conditioning during the night. the fans stopped working and the temperature rose significantly. I had to contact reception.

Excellent Stay near Excel!

The hotel staff were very polite and cute (especially at breakfast). The location was excellent, very convenient for events at Excel. The breakfast had lots of choice. They made fresh omelets and pancakes upon request. I was impressed they allowed me to take breakfast upstairs and even provided a tray.
The mattress in my room was hard. I had a bad sleep . I think a mattress upgrade is overdue.

The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety (especially the pastries). I also liked that the hotel is very close to the cable cars.
I found that the cleanliness in the room was somewhat lacking. The bathroom floor needed a deep clean, and the grout looked like it could use attention. There were no refills of sugar, and the tray was dusty, a small letdown (maybe i'm nitpicking).

check in was quick and the staff member at the reception was polite.
my room smelled of stale smoke even though i requested a non smoking room. the tv remote didn't work and the batteries had corroded. also, breakfast service was slow, and i had to wait twenty minutes for someone to take my order.

I found the room spacious and comfortable. It had everything I needed. Breakfast had a great selection and it was run smoothly. The pool and spa facilities were relaxing (I especially liked the steam room).
The service was less attentive than the price suggests.

A romantic getaway

the check-in process flowed smoothly and was swift. the room was provided with a fridge, a safe, and a hairdryer. i appreciated the spacious size of the room and the comfort of the large bed.
the walls seemed a bit thin because i could faintly hear sounds from neighboring rooms.
